Shimakatsu Shrine
The shrine grounds are located approximately 300 meters from Shimakatsu Port, a fishing village with a nostalgic scenery, and there is a warm-season evergreen broad-leaved forest. This area is also the northern limit of the warm-season deciduous shrub velvet purple, which is distributed in Kyushu, Shikoku, the southern tip of the Kii Peninsula, and Taiwan.
