"Setsubun" is one of Japan's traditional events. It is held on February 3rd (Saturday), the day before February 4th (Sunday) when the seasons change, to ward off evil spirits and pray for good health for the coming year. At VISON, we have prepared a variety of "menus that bring in good fortune." Enjoy preparing for Setsubun, which is a little different than usual, with VISON.

Last year's popular 18thJinsyoumaru special seafood ehomaki will be on sale again this year.
We offer two types of seafood rolls: our specialty seafood maki, which uses plenty of Mie prefecture shrimp and eight different ingredients, and the premium seafood maki, which uses snow crab.

It will only be sold on the day of the event, but reservations can be made in advance, so please take advantage of this opportunity.

Suzuki Suisan's Ehomaki is in its 15th year this year. `` VISON Limited Luxury 7 kinds of seafood ehomaki with Ise tuna'' includes Ise tuna, Minami Ise amberjack, salmon roe, conger eel, shrimp, squid, salmon, egg, cucumber, and 7 kinds of seafood, for a total of 9 kinds. It's a roll. Please enjoy the ehomaki that can only be found at a fish shop.
There will be same-day sales, but if you make a reservation, you will also receive special benefits.

"Rotro" means scroll in Italian.
We have reproduced the Japanese Ehomaki in Italy's Rotoro.
It's a sandwich-like roll made from thin pizza dough, spread with mayonnaise or tomato sauce, and filled with various toppings such as salad, tuna, salmon, shrimp, and cheese.

[How to enjoy various Setsubun]

Would you like to eat zenzai on Setsubun to ward off evil spirits and pray for good health? The red color of the red bean used in zenzai is said to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.
From February 1st (Thursday) to February 3rd (Saturday), we will serve it with Setsubun beans.

Old man Ise
Hanamaki soba noodles made with seaweed from Ise-Shima. This is a collaboration with Wavison "Norimomo".
``Setsubun soba'' is a custom that was common in the Edo period, where people ate purifying soba on Setsubun Day to welcome the first day of spring on February 4th (Sunday).
It is still eaten at Setsubun in some areas of Japan.

A Japanese soup with lots of ingredients, made with Mie Prefecture's delicious chicken, Ureshino tofu, and plenty of root vegetables cooked in a carefully made soup stock with bonito flakes and kelp.
Kenchinjiru was served at seasonal events such as ``Hatsuuma'' at Inari Shrine, held on the first horse day in February.
There is a custom that Kenchinjiru is eaten as a food for Setsubun, which is held during the cold season, for the purpose of warming the body.
