Mt. Tado is a mountain where trail running competitions are held, and the difficulty level varies depending on the course.The mountain has few large steps, so you can enjoy climbing with your children and your beloved dog.

Althoughit is a low mountain, if the weather is good you can see the city of Nagoya from the top.The climbing route is clear and there are many climbers as it is a popular mountain, so you can climb it with confidence, so why not make it yourfirst time climbing?

There are two climbing courses for Mt. Tado that can be climbed from KuwanaCity side. There are two routes: the ``Enjoy the View Course,'' which climbs a slope that is accessible by car, and the``Healthy Legs Course'', which climbs a slightly rugged and gentle slope.

This time, I enjoyed climbing on the "Healthy Legs Course"!Either route will take you to the top of the mountain in about 30 to 60 minutes. For physical strengthIf you are unsure, please try the "Enjoy the View Course" first!

 

 

About access, parking, and toilets

Access and parking

“Healthy Legs Course”LoveWe will start from the trailhead next to the shrine! Google MapsLoveYou can find it by searching for "Jinja Line Parking Lot."There is parking space for approximately 15 cars.If the trail is full, you can park at the "View Enjoyment Course" side parking lot or the "Pocket Park Parking Lot" and then walk to the trailhead for the "Healthy Legs Course." It's about a 10 minute walk away.

Don't forget to use the toilet before climbing

There are no shops or vending machines on Mt. Tado, so be sure to stock up on drinks and food at supermarkets and convenience stores along the way before you start climbing (of course, be sure to take your trash home with you).

There is a toilet in the parking lot, and there is only one place near the summit after you start climbing, so be sure to use it before you start climbing.

■5th station 10:35

After about 20 minutes of climbing, you will arrive at the 5th station.The 5th station is a slightly open space withbenches, making it a good place to take a break.

■6th station 10:40

You can enjoy the spectacular view from the 6th station. If the weather is nice, you can see nagashima area. You can also see the large Ferris wheel at Nagashima Spaland.Don't forget to take a commemorative photo!

■7th station 10:45

The 7th station is also a spot where you can take a break.

From the 7th station, you can see the direction of Komono.If the weather is nice, you can see Mt.Gozaisho and Mt. Kamagatake towering in the distance!My dogs are also enjoying the scenery side by side.

After climbing for a while from the 7th station, you will arrive at a grassy field.If you come this far, you're almost there to reach the top of the mountain.There are several benches installed in this square, so we recommend taking a break before the last spurt.

■Top of the mountain 11:00

We have arrived at the top of the mountain! There is also a covered space at the top of the mountain, which is great on days when the sun is strong.The cherry blossoms at the top of the mountain are beautiful in spring.

This is the view from the top of the mountain. You can see the city of Nagoya from the top of the mountain. You can see the gate tower near Nagoya Station and Midland Square. I think Mt. Tado is the mountain in Mie Prefecture that offers the clearest view of the city of Nagoya. Enjoy the best view as a reward for your hard work!

Don't forget to keep your dogs hydrated. “Drinking water at the top of a mountain is something special!”

Humans also need rewards. There are no shops on Mt. Tado, so be sure to buy some before you start climbing.
