Tado Gorge

In spring, the area is surrounded by bright fresh greenery. In the summer, you can play in the natural pool created by damming the flow of the river and see Genji fireflies. You can see the changing leaves in autumn, and enjoy the nature throughout the year.

In the summer, various events are held for two months from July to August under the title "Tado Gorge Summer Carnival." There is no doubt that you can have fun during your summer vacation.

Near Kawaka Bridge, there is a colony of Inunashi, the original species of pear. Dog pears inhabit scattered areas in the northern and central parts of Mie Prefecture, but it is extremely rare to find them growing in clusters, and in August 2010 they were designated as a national natural monument.

In the midst of rich nature, you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend a relaxing moment. Children can play a lot in nature, and the whole family can have fun together.

You can view and edit the sightseeing route (My Plan on My Page) that will take you around the selected spots.
