New attractions are being added one after another to Jyonohama Pool & Beach, which opened in 2023!

Jonohama Pool opened last year in the Jonohama area, a popular area for its beautiful sea and sandy beaches within Jyonohama-Nada Marine Park, which stretches across the HigashiKishu region of Mie Jyonohama!
The attractions of Jyonohama Pool include the "Infinity Pool," which seems to merge with the horizon of the ocean adjacent to Jyonohama Beach, and the "Children's Pool," which is full of water-based attractions.

In addition, a night pool will be open this year!
We got a head start on the summer and covered the menu at ON THE BEACH Cafe, which will be open this summer in the beach center house equipped with changing rooms, new activities at the beach, and new facilities at the campsite.
In addition to the pool, we'll also introduce you to the charms of the area's popular beaches, `` Jyonohama Beach'' and `` Magotaro Auto Campsite''!

The most appealing feature of this pool is the "infinity pool," which seems to blend in with the majestic view of the Kumano Sea.
Infinity means "infinite", and you can enjoy a luxurious panoramic view of the pool that seems to have no boundaries!

The main pool of Jyonohama Pool has an area of 220 square meters and a water depth of 1.2 meters, allowing you to experience an extraordinary and immersive feeling as if you have stepped into the spectacular view of the Kumanonada Sea.

Infinity pools are going to be a hot topic this summer and are going to be hugely popular!

The children were very excited to see the huge bucket that holds 250 liters of water and the slide that slides down with the force of the water falling from the bucket.

There are many other tricks using water!

The children's pool is designed to be shallow, so even small children can play to their heart's content in safety.
In addition to the pool with play equipment, there is also an adjacent pool with a cute sunfish, the symbol of KihokuTown painted on it.

Jyonohama Pool, which opens at the same time as the pool, has a center house with changing rooms, showers, and eating and drinking areas, and is a pool that everyone from adults to small children can enjoy.

In the summer of 2024, a fantastic "night pool" will open in this spectacular pool!
The infinity pool bathed in vibrant light is sure to be a stunning sight.

At the night pool, where even those concerned about the hot summer sun and sunburn can enjoy themselves without worrying, a variety of drinks, including alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase.

Jyonohama Beach is a popular beach with beautiful cobalt blue water and white sand.

It is characterized by its transparency and calm waves, which earned it the highest rank of ``AA'' in Mie Prefecture in a water quality survey.

A beach that looks great no matter where you look

The beautiful beach of Jyonohama has not only beautiful scenery but also fashionable objects.

Once you pass through the yellow door, you will be greeted with a spectacular view of the beautiful sea, sky, and white sand!

The children were beaming with smiles as the white waves sparkled in the sun!

​The jetty where you can overlook the beach and ocean is also a recommended viewing spot.

With over 14 types of paid activities, including new activities, you can experience the exhilaration and thrills of the beautiful ocean.

Applications for these activities can be made on the day on site, however last year some days were fully booked, so we recommend making your reservation early!

During this visit, we tried out some of the popular activities: tubing, jet cruising, skeleton canoeing, and children's jet skiing.

The first thing we experienced was gliding through the waves at high speed on the "tube."

This thrilling activity involves gliding across the waves while holding on to a tube pulled by a jet ski!
Every time the jet ski ahead of you turns, a strong centrifugal force is applied to the tube, making it even more thrilling than a roller coaster!

It was a parent-child experience, and my 5-year-old son was also very excited about this first experience.
It can be enjoyed by up to four people at the same time, making it a great group activity!

Jet cruising allows you to enjoy an exhilarating tour across the beautiful ocean on a jet ski!

At Jyonohama, surrounded by the magnificent views of the Kumano Sea, you can enjoy a cruise that you can't experience anywhere else!

The next experience was "skeleton canoeing."

Not only can you enjoy sailing out to sea in a transparent canoe, but this activity also allows you to peer into the ocean as you float on the beautiful surface of Jyonohama.
The waters of Jyonohama are very clear, so if you're lucky you might encounter fish such as clownfish.

It was my first time canoeing, but because we received a thorough lecture on the beach beforehand, even beginners were able to experience it with peace of mind!

Children's water bike

With a kids' jet ski, your child can actually ride and drive the jet ski all by themselves!

Although it is for children, the bike has a screw on the bottom and by operating the switch on the handlebars, it is possible to cruise at a safe speed.
The activity is aimed at children from 3 years old to elementary school students, and my 5-year-old son was fascinated by the experience of operating a jet ski on his own!

​There is also a center house adjacent to Jyonohama Pool and Beach!

In addition to changing rooms, hot showers, and coin lockers that can be used not only by pool users but also beach users, we also have an ``ON THE BEACH Cafe'' with plenty of drinks and gourmet food!

Inside the center house, the first floor is for beach users, and the second floor is for pool users, and each changing room is directly connected to the poolside and beach.

Inside the building, you can enjoy the warmth of Owase cypress trees, and from the walkway that extends toward the ocean, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Kumano Sea.

The changing room in the center house is also equipped with a baby bed.
The charm of Jyonohama is not only the beautiful buildings, but also the fact that the facilities are well-equipped down to the smallest details.

ON THE BEACH Cafe

Don't you get hungry while playing in the pool or swimming in the sea?

"ON THE BEACH Cafe", which operates on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Center House, has a wide variety of gourmet and drink menus that you'll want to enjoy during your break!

This location cafe in Kihoku KihokuTown, a town famous for eating sunfish, offers a wide variety of dishes that use the light-tasting sunfish as an ingredient, as well as dishes like taco rice that will get you in the beach mood!

Enjoy lunch while looking at the beautiful scenery and refresh your tired body from playing.

There is also an extensive children's menu, and my son was delighted with the "kids lunch plate" and delicious sweets!

They serve not only soft drinks but also alcoholic drinks such as beer, highballs, and chuhai, making this a great location cafe that will satisfy everyone, from adults to children!

`` Magotaro Auto Campsite'', a great location 0 minutes from the sea

A 2-minute drive from Jyonohama is Magotaro Auto Campground, which boasts a seaside view overlooking the ocean!

Full of facilities such as HigashiKishu only full-scale glamping facility and seaside cottages.

Seaside Terrace Glamping Dome Kumanonada

This is a glamping facility that boasts an extraordinary space where you can relax and enjoy nature while listening to the sound of the waves.

Wi-Fi facilities are also available, and you can enjoy the beautiful sea and setting sun from the large windows.

The dome is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, so you can stay comfortably in any weather.

Inside the dome, there is a refrigerator, power outlet, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle, so you can stay as you please.

Additionally, Glamping Dome offers a wide range of hotel-like amenities.

The wooden deck, which has a private dome, has a private toilet and shower, and is fully equipped with towels, shampoo, hair dryers, toothbrushes, and more.

For dinner, we will have a glamping BBQ in the Western-style gazebo adjacent to the glamping dome.

Considering the need for BBQs in the hot summer sun or on bad weather days, the gazebo is fully air-conditioned, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable BBQ.

An exquisite menu made with carefully selected ingredients from the Kihoku/Kumano area, where BBQ is located.
The meat used is Mikumano beef, the rice is Iga rice, and the seafood is made with carefully selected fresh ingredients, so you can enjoy piping hot ajillo and bisque soup, making for a satisfying meal in both quality and quantity!

Enjoying a BBQ in a comfortable gazebo will give you a truly luxurious feeling.

There's no need for troublesome preparation or cleanup, and the gazebo is made of glass, so you can enjoy ​a luxurious BBQ while looking out at the beautiful ocean.

When you enjoy a relaxed BBQ with your loved ones at the well-equipped Magotaro Auto Campground, you'll find the conversation flowing easily!

Although I visited for an interview this time, it was such a fun BBQ experience that I would like to come back again with my family and friends!

Glamping Dome not only offers BBQ dinner, but also sweets and breakfast.

You can enjoy the atmosphere of a luxury hotel while looking out at the view of the Kumano Sea.

There is also a barrel sauna and seaside cottage.

In addition to the glamping dome, the campsite also has seaside cottages, log cabins, and various tent sites!

Electric Bike

​"EV bikes" have been introduced as a new activity at Magotaro Auto Campground!

There are large three-wheeled and two-wheeled types, and you can drive the three-wheeled ones outside the campsite and on public roads with just a regular car license, and the two-wheeled ones with a moped license.
When fully charged, the battery has a sufficient range, so you can enjoy exploring the fishing town of nagashima, as well as the pool and beach near the campsite!

The fee is 1,000 yen per hour.
This price includes insurance, so you can enjoy your tour with peace of mind while taking in the beautiful scenery of the ocean and Kumano Nada Sea!
*EV bikes are available only to guests staying at the hotel (2 two-wheeled and 2 three-wheeled bikes)
