Highlights include the maritime suicide bombing in which two ships running at full speed throw ignited firework balls one after another, the large-scale device using the rocky areas and caves of Onigajo, and the three-shaku ball maritime suicide bombing that spreads across the Kumano Sea. The 72nd IseJingu National Fireworks Festival (IseCity)

This historic event was started in 1955 to commemorate the 59th ShikinenSengu as a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to fireworks at IseJingu.
This is a ``competitive fireworks display'' in which fireworks artists selected from all over the country, from Akita Prefecture in the north to Kagoshima Prefecture in the south, present their work to the shrine and release the results of their daily training into the night sky of Ise, the sacred capital of Japan. Owase Port Festival (OwaseCity)

A major summer event in Owase that has been going on since 1955. It is usually held on the first Saturday of August, and many food stalls line up and people come from all over the city.
