Sugashima Shrine Sugashima Jinja
In 1907, various shrines in the village, including Hachio Shrine, Tenno Shrine, and Tsuchi no Miya Shrine, were enshrined and became Sugashima Shrine.
The ridge tags from 1840 and 1850 remain.
The shrine in the shrine grounds enshrines an invisible god wrapped in cotton. When children are born on the island, they visit the shrine and wrap themselves in thin cotton to pray for their healthy growth.
The main shrine is in the Shinmei style, and the divine crest is a circle with an arrow.
