A space that you cannot experience normally. Surrounded by trees with various expressions, please be healed.

The town of Iidaka, where the Forest Art Museum is located, is famous for its ``kuni-buki legend'', in which Amaterasu Omikami threw a stone to determine the border between Ise and Yamato provinces during the Age of the Gods, and the legend of Yamatohime no Mikoto. It is a place where the history of coexistence between humans, nature, and gods is engraved, such as the ``Sugatami Pond'' where it is said that during a pilgrimage to Ise, she applied makeup to reflect her own image.

Mokuichi Margo, which operates the Forest Art Museum, carries one of the prefecture's largest inventories of natural wood, with over 2,000 pieces of about 20 types, so you can experience the charm of solid wood. In hopes of attracting customers, we are opening our exhibition hall and factory to the public free of charge.
If you have any questions about wood, our staff will be happy to provide you with detailed explanations.

Please come and be healed by being surrounded by trees with various expressions in an environment full of eternal history and nature.

You can view and edit the sightseeing route (My Plan on My Page) that will take you around the selected spots.
