Main building of the Kitaizumi family (former Ueno Police Station building)
The building was originally constructed in 1888 and is said to have served as a model for police buildings throughout Mie Prefecture.
It is a one-story wooden building with a hipped roof, and was originally located in Higashi Ote within the castle grounds, and was moved to its current location in 1938.
It is currently used as a residence. Designated as a nationally registered cultural property.
