Takehira Pass Observatory

A parking lot near Takehira Pass on SuzukaSkyline. Chigusa Hydroelectric Power Plant

The power station was built in April 1907, using the waters of the Asaka River, which originates in the valley between Mt.Gozaisho and Mt. Shakagatake, to generate 350 kilowatts of electricity. In May 1977, an expansion was carried out, increasing the capacity to 500 kilowatts, but the station still distributes electricity to the town, retaining its original form. Kunimidake

The northern neighbor of Mt.Gozaisho is Mt. Kunimi, which is 1160 meters above sea level. Near the summit, there are strangely shaped rocks such as Sekimon, Tengu Rock, and Yurugi Ishi, as well as a panoramic view of the Fujinai wall of Mt.Gozaisho. Yakushido

Yakushido is located on a hill overlooking the village of Kamigochi. Enku Enku's Yakushi Sanzon statue is enshrined inside the hall. It is said that in 1674, Enku Shonin stopped by this place on his way from Shima to Mt. Asakuma and built it. The gentle expressions of Yakushi Nyorai, Nikko Bodhisattva, and Moonlight Bodhisattva carved into cedar have soothed people's hearts throughout time.

Dainichido

The main image enshrined is a wooden seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai, said to have been made in the late Kamakura period.
