Autumn Kagura Festival [IseJingu Naiku] Akino Kagurashi
Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024 to Monday, September 23, 2024
This event is held to give thanks to the gods and pray for peace for the people, and visitors can enjoy Bugaku dance and religious ceremonies in the shrine gardens.
On the first day, Kagura dance performances will be held at Geku at 8:30 a.m. and at Naiku Shrine at 10 a.m. in their respective Kagura halls. Bugaku performances will also be held for the public on a special stage in the Naiku Shrine gardens at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
During this period, there are also dedication events by famous schools and families from all over the country, including dance, Noh theater, and outdoor tea ceremonies.
However, in the event of rain, the public Bugaku performance will be held only at 11:00 a.m. on the Sanshuden Stage.
