This shrine was established in 1911 by combining the deities of 25 shrines located in the former saikuu village. It was originally located in Takekawa's hometown, but during the Meiji period it was moved to its current location, where Nonomiya Shrine was enshrined. Ruins of large-scale walls and buildings with dug-out pillars from the Heian period have been excavated in the surrounding area, and it is said that this may have been the site of Saio's palace. It is also noteworthy that the votive tablets that used to be in the ema hall, which are named after the Kanze-ryu noh song ``Ema,'' are now kept at this shrine.
The office is only open on Saturdays and Sundays. We only distribute Goshuin stamps and small amulets from Take Shrine on Saturdays and Sundays, so please stop by when you are visiting Ise.
On the day of the full moon visit, the shrine office will be open from 10:00 to 19:00.
We will be distributing full moon limited goshuin stamps.
