[Takejinja Shrine April Limited Edition Goshuin] Goshuin for visiting the Saigu saikuu, the Praying Princess of the Saio
Date: Monday, April 1, 2024 - Tuesday, April 30, 2024 10:00-15:00
Monthly goshuin stamps around saikuu, the praying princess Saio Miyako
[April_Monthly Goshuin] Goshuin of the Saio Princess's Praying saikuu, Miyako Saigū
A red stamp that introduces the story of Miyako Saigu, the praying princess of Saio, including Take saikuu.
The April theme is the Takekawa Flower Garden, which also appears in the Tale of Genji.
A character based on the Saio appears in "The Tale of Genji."
The "Takekawa no Dan" section features "Takekawa," the name of a place in saikuu that still remains to this day, and it is said that the flower garden at "Takekawa" was planted with flowers of all seasons and was enjoyed by the Saiō.
Currently, local volunteers are working to restore the garden in Takekawa.
