MatsuuraTakeshiro an explorer from MatsusakaCity who was known as the ``godfather of Hokkaido''. The event is held to introduce the traditional culture of the Ainu people that Takeshiro loved and to praise his great achievements, as well as to rediscover the goodness of local culture, create a unique town, and foster spiritually rich people.
Admission to MatsuuraTakeshiro Memorial Museum and Birthplace is free, and traditional Ainu dance will be performed and food, drinks, and other products will be sold.
