<Breaking news> The Choryu Shinto ritual will be held on March 21st (Saturday), the vernal equinox day! !

At Yashira Shrine, the Choryu ritual is held every year on the day of the spring equinox.
The Choryu Shinto ritual is a Shinto ritual handed down at Katano Yashibashira Shrine in Taki-cho, Taki-TakiTown.
This is a symbolic performance of the myth of the country of Izumo, where the ancient Susano-onomikoto defeated Yamata-no-Orochi.
It is said that Shinto rituals have been held since the shrine was founded (1517), but its current form took place about 270 years ago (1741), when the Tamaki clan, the owner of Katano Village, prayed for rain. It is believed that this festival was started to pray for a rich harvest.

On January 4th, the ``Nagataki Shinto ritual'' was held at Okage-yokocho in Ise.
Although some parts were omitted due to space and time constraints, the Shinto ritual at Yashira Shrine on March 21st, the day of the vernal equinox, will be performed uncut, so please come and see it!
